Postdoc Position Description: The COMBO Initiative at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons is recruiting a 2-year full-time Postdoctoral Research Fellow.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Candidate must hold a PhD in a field related to child health (e.g., psychology, public health, developmental neuroscience, sociology, nutrition, nursing, implementation science).
• Candidate must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
• Candidate must be interested in pursuing research related to primary care.
• Interest and/or previous experience with dyadic parent/caregiver-child health and wellbeing research is preferred.

This position is available on a rolling basis and federally funded. Under the supervision of Dr. Dani Dumitriu, assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Psychiatry and Director of the Nurture Science Program at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, and in collaboration with Reach Out and Read, the Postdoctoral Research Fellow would work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team (including pediatricians, neuroscientists, nurses, psychologists, OBGYNs, and others) to support and coordinate a multi-site research study on child early relational health and development. The fellow would also be involved in developing and evaluating a pediatrician training program in early relational health observation and promotion techniques in the primary care setting.
